Elaine N. DeSario, O.D.
Dr. Elaine DeSario is a native of the Louisa,KY/Fort Gay,WV area. She received a B.S. in Cytotechnology from Marshall University in 2003, minoring in Chemistry. Dr. DeSario received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007, graduating with honors from the Advanced Pediatrics Track program. Dr. DeSario is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association. She also belongs to the Louisa Chapter of the Rotary Club International and is an active member of the Lawrence County,KY Board of Health.

James C. Leadingham, O.D.
Dr. Leadingham has been practicing optometry for more than 40 years, having graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1965. He is a member and past president of the American Optometric Association and Kentucky Optometric Association. He received his fellowship to the American Academy of Optometry in 1988. He was named national Optometrist of the Year in 1985. His practice emphasis include the management of eye disease, contact lenses, geriatric vision care and low vision.

Sally Maynard
Sally has been with Leadingham Eye Care since 1999. She is responsible for the Contact Lens section of the practice and has extensive training in refracting and pre-test. She is a Certified Paraoptometric Technician, receiving her certification in 2006. She is also a certified Contact Lens Technician, receiving her certification from the National Contact Lens Examiners in 2004. She attended the MARCO basic orthopic and refractometry workshop in 2002 and is currently working on her optician license.

Sheila Meek
Sheila joined Leadingham Eye Care in 2005. She is responsible all aspects of the reception area. She has more than 10 years experience as a medical receptionist. She passed the first level of the Paraoptometric Certification in 2006. She is currently enrolled in the Ophthalmic Career Progression Program administered by the National Academy of Opticianry.

Sabrina Young
Sabrina joined Leadingham Eye Care in 2006. She is currently responsible for all aspects of insurance and billing. She is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, receiving her certification in 2008.

Amy has been with Leadingham Eye Care since 2007. She the receptionist. She is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, receiving her certification in 2009.

Stephanie McClelland
Stephanie joined Leadingham Eye Care in 2007.She has intensive training in refracting and pretesting. She currently is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, receiving her certification in 2009. She is currently working on her Paraoptometric Technician certification.
